Once a credit card authorization form is submitted via Sertifi, Sertifi's advanced fraud tools instantly run to detect risky cards early. Using an A-F fraud score, you'll decide whether or not to proceed with the card.
Along with the fraud score, additional form details and credit card information securely post to the reservation in OPERA Cloud. A payment method is also created in OPERA Cloud, so staff may charge the authorized card at a later date.
A status report in Sertifi allows users to see the status of all requests sent to make sure information has pushed successfully and correct information and repush it. Plus, if you're working from Sertifi's next-generation platform, you'll be able to access the report right from your authorizations folder.

When will the OPERA Cloud integration be available to reservation teams?
What version of OPERA do I need to use for the integration?
To take advantage of the integration, Sertifi customers must have their own OPERA Cloud license.
Do I need to use Sertifi’s next-generation platform?
No, but there is added benefit using the integration via a next-generation portal. In our next-generation platform, you don’t need to use a separate OPERA report and instead can see information about which authorizations have successfully pushed to OPERA directly from the authorization folder view.
I’m a corporate owned and managed property. Can I use the integration?
This varies by brand. Please get in touch with your primary brand contact to learn more.
What does the process look like for implementing the new integration?
Once you license the new integration, we will need some basic information about your OPERA Cloud instance. Once you're set up by our implementation team, you can begin using the integration immediately. Here is the template for you to see what kind of information is required.
Sending a token is based solely on if the gateway is supported by Oracle. The following gateways are supported:
- Shift4
- FreedomPay
- Elevon (Converge)
- SertifiPay (Stripe) – ACH only
Can I use this for both credit card authorizations and event payments?
Yes - there is an additional integration available for event payments, designed for sales and events teams. Please let us know if you’re interested in using both integrations, and we will send you an agreement and pricing for each.
Does the authorization workflow also work for travel authorizations?
Yes, travel authorization details can also be transferred into OPERA Cloud using the authorizations integration.
I don’t use OPERA Cloud. Can I still integrate Sertifi with OPERA PMS?
Yes, we still offer our standard OPERA PMS integrations. That said, Oracle no longer supports these integrations and the use of OPERA Web Services, so we won’t be able to update these integrations.
