SertifiPay Redefines "Open for Business" for New Resort

Before opening its doors, Marriott Frenchman’s Reef Resort could start generating revenue with advance deposits for meeting and event bookings. Without a physical location, PMS, or merchant identification (MID) yet in place, its property management company, Aimbridge Hospitality, needed an electronic method to process payments. 

Sertifi Solution

When a new solution was needed, Farshid Jaberi, Aimbridge’s director of transitions operations, merchant processing, made his first call to Sertifi. Since other Aimbridge properties use the platform for authorizations and payments, he already had familiarity and a positive experience with the platform. 

Right away, it became clear Sertifi could solve another need. Powered by Stripe, Sertifi’s online payment processor, SertifiPay, would allow for fast, contactless payments and be available worldwide. Plus, with Level 1 PCI compliance and other baked-in security measures, Aimbridge could trust SertifiPay to protect sensitive payment details.  


While everyone eagerly awaits the resort’s grand opening, business is being finalized. Within a week, the resort’s sales director was ready to collect and process advance deposits with SertifiPay thanks to an easy implementation process and hands-on support from the Sertifi team.

Now, from any location, he is efficiently sending deposit requests – and as a team of one, efficiency can't be underestimated. Resort customers have also been pleased with how easy and convenient submitting payments has been with Sertifi.

SertifiPay has ultimately redefined what “open for business” means for Aimbridge and their properties.
